Season 6, Week 1
Rody
(Suikoden III)

Rody's known as the mage with two swings. Granted, being from Suikoden III, it's nothing to brag about. Still, he's in a position where his opponent could easily be toppled. Rody's attack may be nothing to smile at, but Guile's defences are just as bad. And all that Rody will need to do is smack this fellow cruddy mage around with his broom. Sad as it may be to think, Rody's second swing might bring him victory here, as CC's masked magician could very well lose this match if Rody plays his cards right.

Guile is a pure mage with no elements. His Strength score is one of the lowest in all of Chrono Cross. Screwed, you say? Hardly. As bad is Guile is, he can take comfort in the fact that his opponent, Rody, is much worse. The pure mage with no elements is up against a pure mage from Suikoden with no Runes... well, that's not entirely true, but Rody's Wall and Firefly Runes are so bad he'd rather not use them. This will be an easy match for Guile, as decent techs like WandaSwords will put Rody away in a match between pathetic physical fighters.

Rody is a Mage from Suikoden w/out an Command Runes Guile is a Mage from Chrono Cross w/out any Elements Seems fair, right? Well no, see, while Chrono Cross mages just suck at Physicals, a Suikoden mage having a good physical is unheard of, and Rody, even with his amazing 2 swings, is being laughed it. It doesn't help that Guile can still summon swordsout of nowhere to slaughter Rudy
