Season 51, Week 4
Cyan Garamonde
(Final Fantasy VI)

The honorable Doma retainer has managed to put on quite a show this season, and it's regrettable that he must slay an innocent girl to keep his lucky streak. However, Cyan knows how merciless the battlefield is, and he won't hold back in the slightest against the Mysidian priestess. After all, he knows she can wreak some havoc with her extensive spell set if given the chance. Fortunately, Porom is unsettlingly frail, and even a simple sword technique like Dispatch could be devastating against her. Furthermore, she is as sluggish as she is fragile, and that'll give Cyan the time to pull off a more powerful swordskill - if a Dispatch can make Porom reel in pain, a well-placed Quadra Slam should be more than enough to put her down.

Cyan is unable to focus on Porom's bad durability and speed, having to charge up all his damage. He also lacks any kind of protection against most of Porom's crippling statuses or powerful Holy spell. His heroic nature works against him, as he surely won't be as quick to strike down a small child as he would be to smite a villain or even a more heroically inclined adult. Much like her brother, Porom has a nasty variety of ways to win, and much like the poor scrubs who stood against Porom during her first ascent to glory, Cyan has no way to stop Porom before she cripples and defeats him. Losing to a little girl is a pretty sure sign you belong in Light, but Cyan can hopefully pass this off as 'training' and not have his ego be too bruised after the fact.

Tide

Cyan's battle tactics for this battle can be surmised as follows:

Battle start! Uh...

Start Charging Swd Tech --> What did the enemy do? --> Start charging a spell --> Will I reach my desired charged tech before enemy? --> No --> F**k it! QUADRA SLICE!!111!

*Cyan gets hit by lethal status, re-evaluates his game plan*

Did I win? --> No --> This is BULLSH*T --> Did I learn anything? --> Yes --> REALLY? --> No

Cyan Garamonde: 15
Porom: 49

Ayra
Although the match itself didn't have much in terms of excitement, 9 out of 10 people agreed that a mini-ed Doma knight is just too darn cute. The 10th found himself wishing that he had actually drank the poisoned water back then.

Dunefar
Youth beats age every time. When Cyan faces Porom, he's not going to find success. He's going to feel oooolld as a Holy smashes into his face.

Magic Fanatic
Tiny Plastic Swordsman, but without the plastic.
