Season 1, Week 3
Zeal, Queen
(Chrono Trigger)

Queen Zeal likes multi-hit attacks. Why, you ask? Well, because her gloves automatically counter with MP Buster and Lifeshaver whenever someone attacks them. Throw in her high HP, and you've got an idea of why the Enlightened Ones tread carefully around their Queen. But what about her other attacks? Well, she's got Hallation, Skygate, Dark Gear, and Hexagon Mist to back up her powers, making her truly a force to be reckoned with!

Having managed to best a fellow hero, McDohl is now facing a more familiar type of foe. A once fair leader, who has now been corrupted, and has brought their people to ruin because of it. And, much like Barbarossa, Queen Zeal also comes complete with a transformation that features three parts, and is horribly slow, though this form packs more power than Barbarossa ever did, even if the total HP to off her is likely less. That said, McDohl, knowing that his foe is almost as good in getting a quick win as he is, is going to go for an all out offence. And while his 100% instant death attacks, Deadly Fingertips and Hell, are going to be useless here, his high speed and three Judgement Spells are still likely enough to see his way through to the semies.

Dark Holy Elf
When Tir got hit by Zeal's opening MP Buster, he tried to argue that he had spell charges, not MP, and that he should therefore be immune to Zeal's spell.

Unfortunately, many previous "decision-making" sessions with Mathiu had already proven just how bad Tir was at getting his point across in situations like this.

Zeal, Queen: 16
Tir McDohl: 5

"Pitiful fool! Gaze upon the power of Lavos and know your own insignificance and powerlessness in his presence!" Queen Zeal ranted before breaking into a generic evil queen laugh. "Come, let me show you the power the mighty Lavos has given me, and know how meaningless your life is!"
At this, Tir collected his thoughts. Of his struggle against family and enemy alike to create a new country, and he remembered an old saying he had heard once. "Even at his most powerless, a man's life is never without meaning," he simply said as he raised his right hand and drew upon the power of the Soul Eater, quickly defeating the fallen Queen of the Enlightened Ones.
