Season 50, Week 4
Nina
(Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter)

Since she can no longer speak, Nina has to let her magic do the talking, and so far it’s been roaring in victory. Her D-Ratio may have been so low that she was seen as human fodder, but Nina is proving now that she’s the one who isn’t to be messed with. Her trusty and spammable Death spell should again prove a great hurdle to her opponent, especially given his bad magic resistance. And given her good speed and possibly even her ability to halve his damage with equips, and Nina should get several tries to attempt her fatal spellcasting should it fail the first time around. Under Death's visage, Colm has no place to run...

You can't kill what you can't hit. Nina the Fifth's going to hate that phrase by the time this fight is over. Instant death? Attack magic? Pffffft. It's all subject to Colm's evade, and thus is all but worthless against the speedy Assassin. What does Nina bring to the table besides that? Nothing. The girl is literally wearing next to nothing and has horrible defense, leaving her wiiide open to Colm's attacks. It won't take more than one or two hits to fell Nina and claim a finals spot. The really bad news for Nina? She has no evade, not that it'd matter against a fighter trained so extensively in the art of silent, deadly, fast kills.

Taishyr
A trained killer.

An innocent air conditioner.

A man determined to win at any costs.

Still an air conditioner.

A man dedicated to the woman he loves.

Yep, definitely an air conditioner.

"For Neimi, I won't lose!" Colm cursed as he entered the arena.

Then an air conditioner fell on top of him.

Nina the Fifth won by default.

No one's asking how she got the altitude in plate mail.
