Season 50, Week 4
Edgar Roni Figaro
(Final Fantasy VI)

Sharing the success with a fellow cast mate in Terra, Edgar too has reached the semi finals ... a division lower, but hey, he's not one to be picky; after all, its just another thing in common he shares with her to get another- ...wait, this about the match, isn't it? Edgar's opponent this week is nothing he has any problems handling. Healing? Anti Magical fields? Big massive defenses? Talk about a bag of tricks that mean absolutely NOTHING to the young suave King of Figaro. Air Anchor sees to the healing effortlessly, Noiseblaster messes up his opponent while Silent Lake is worthless against Edgar, and Drill goes through heavy armor like, well, an axe to the face. Or perhaps a drill to the face. Really, though, it's clear who will be moving on to the finals.

It's been smooth sailing on the Silent Lake for the good ship Percival. Of course, it couldn't really be worse than sailing with the cast from some other games in his series that won't be mentioned, but Percival really has done well for himself this season. Of course, now he faces an opponent he doesn't quite like, one whose skills are unaffected by Silent Lake. Still, he isn't the one trick pony every says he is. His Rune is still good for healing, and his evade is still top notch, whether the enemy can use skills or not. And of course, the enemy's damage isn't as impressive as his Godlike compatriot's is, quite thankfully! It's only one more match to the finals, so it's time Percy digs deep to pull a win to really show exactly why he deserves this division!

Edgar > Percival

"So, wait. You can silence people with just a comment?"

"Yep." Percival grinned. "Why? Don't tell me you're scared..."

Edgar hefted his chainsaw in response. "Not really. The match is, ah, a foregone conclusion. This being said, I can't see why we can't both profit..."

"So." Lucca grinned.

"So." Edgar smirked.

Percival yawned. "It's done? You guys work fast."

And then he beheld what the two had made. "... who's the first target?"

"Godlike." The two inventors chorused.

"So, let me get this straight. They managed to place the True Fire, Water, Wind, Earth AND Lightning Runes, plus a Fury, Double-Strike, and Gale Rune, and equipped them all... to T260G."

"Yep." Marle nodded.

"And the five True Rune users..." Rune prompted.

"Are laughing their asses off."

"Well. This just nuked Godlike." Rune mused before turning away.
