Season 50, Week 2
Lyn
(Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword)

Odin's Gungnir may have weapon triangle advantage over Lyn's blade, but Lady Lyndis is ready to exploit Odin's true weakness - competent warrior women. He couldn't beat Alicia, and Lenneth was able to triumph over his berserk younger brother when Odin himself could not. Seeing a pattern yet? In Asgard, he may be the King of the Gods, but in the Arena, he's just another janitor to Lyn. While Odin is slugging along trying to even hit Lyn, the Sacaean princess will be parrying his blows and landing counterattacks at a two-to-one rate. Not even a god can stand up to that kind of punishment, weapon triangle advantage or not! ...for that matter, does a mop even count in the triangle?

It has been too long since the DL's resident janitor was challenged in the arena. A spunky half-elf thousands of years young, Odin is ready to move up in the world and prove himself! First on the menu is Lyn. Sure, she's got a rusty old holy sword and a dragonslayer lying around, but Odin has something far greater; one of the Four Treasures, the Holy Spear Gungnir! The holy...wait. The holy what? That's right, Odin has weapon triangle advantage on the nomad princess. And while she's certainly speedy, Odin's no slouch himself, dashing around the arena with the greatest of ease. Lady Lyndis won't be escaping Odin's dreaded Soul Crush - Spirtual Lancer shall easily pierce Lyn's frail frame.

This was really just a good old fashioned fight. Good clean fighting, best two out of three matches.

Well, when Lyn mopped Odin up in the first round, he decided to take a moment to brush up on his techniques, not wanting to get washed out without a single win.

It didn't really help him though. Despite his attempts to stall, Lyn wiped him out a second time to make it a sweep.
