Season 50, Week 2
Belial
(Wild ARMs 4)

Hah! Myria thinks she'll be doing another jaunt through Godlike, does she? Pathetic. Belial will have to prove otherwise. Tanks, distortion rips, and the brutal 4D Pocket - she'll have to bring everything to bear against Myria, but it's a battle she can still win. There's little alive that can dream of matching Belial's speed, and that'll be Myria's downfall. A never-ending deluge of tanks will render her helpless, and if Myria tries to eliminate her in one blow that blow will meet the Distortion and fail to faze her at all. There's little Myria can do, frankly, and Belial's endless speed will break Myria before she can dream of killing her.

Belial and Myria. These two duelists couldn't be more different in fighting style if they tried. Myria is an incredibly tanky physical mauler while Belial is a fragile-as-paper mage who relies on defensive gimmicks to keep her alive. Well, they do have one thing in common at least: Speed. While Belial is undeniably the faster of the two, Myria isn't far behind. So the question is, can Belial rack up enough damage to whittle down the goddess's HP before Myria's Big Crash tears through Belial's terrible durability? All signs point to no, and to another great season at the top for everyone's favorite Goddess of Destruction.

Most gods hate each other. Despite this, they have their annual get-together somewhere around this time. This usually ends up in a huge holy war, but the gods keep doing it because it's a tradition. This year, they held GodsCon in Filgaia.

Among them, Myria is one of the most hated. It's not hard to see why. Any god who likes dragons, or for that matter, is a dragon, already wants to see her wiped off the face of the universe.
In addition, the gods of destruction and protection hate her because she plays both side of the fence, and the other snake gods hate her because she's another snake god.

But if there's one thing gods hate more than other gods, it's someone who is taken seriously as a god, yet isn't actually one.

So when Belial walked into the hotel with Scythe, just looking for a place to shack up for a few days away from the whole Brionac thing, the assembled mass of gods simply smote them where they stood.

And due to this, Belial never made it to the match, so Myria advanced.

"So...did you..."
"Ana, you know me better than that."
"You did."
"Of COURSE I did! That buffoon disgraces the proud name of the Crimson Nobles!"
"You know Belial's gonna be pissed when she finds out who recommended the hotel."
"Oh, don't worry. I'll just beat her at her own game."
"...you're insane, Mariabelle."
