Season 49, Week 4
Ghaleon
(Lunar Series)

The Magic Emperor has cut a swath of destruction through Godlike! Ghaleon's foes have scattered before his might and the lamentations of their women echo in his ears! Now Ghaleon must waste more time undoing a wretch barely worth his notice. The stooge of Zophar, the False Goddess Althena, dares to oppose him. Her magic packs quite the punch, yet there is no doubt Ghaleon can withstand it and safely buffer it away with Chaos Shield. Once his health is guarded, it's a simple matter for sword and spell to rip False Althena apart. What can she do when Ghaleon's invincible and able to strike her at the same time? Not even the biggest hit matters when it doesn't go through.

Oh, the horror! An inter-series rivalry finally comes to a head right here in the DL, as Zophar's false goddess battles with the Magic Emperor who so desired the original. How perfectly insulting! This Althena is more than a match for Alex's strumpet. Why has Ghaleon never called or even said hello after all these seasons? AN INSULT TO BE SURE! FA is as attractive as she is powerful, wielding Ray and boasting both excellent offense and HP, much like her opposing castmate. Unlike Ghaleon though, she's extremely fast and has youth on her side. That crusty old magic emperor has no chance against a young, perfect woman such as the one *truly* great Althena!

There's not really much to the duel. Both fire gigantic beams of destruction at each other until one falls. Lacking Chaos Shield, False Althena falls first. She'd arranged for a second contest beforehand for the duel. At least, she could take some consolation in that she'd win that one.

Understandably, Ghaleon had no enthusiasm for taking part in the second contest. However, the judges (which included Zophar and Myria) reminded him that while the second part only comprised 5% of the score; his refusal to participate would be treated as a forfeit. Worse, False Althena had persuaded Blue to make sure Ghaleon didn't try to wiggle out somehow. Not about to concede defeat to that "pitiful imitation of a goddess," Ghaleon stormed off to the changing rooms muttering about murdering TimeLord the whole way.

To False Althena's disappointment, she lost the beauty contest. She turned out to be no match for Magical Girl Ghaleon in the looks department. Oh well, at least she has some time before Ghaleon recovers from his humiliation and hunts her down for a second beatdown.
