Season 49, Week 2
Cleo
(Suikoden)

Being a loyal retainer to Tir McDohl has some perks, but, unfortunately, getting their own share of his immense power apparently isn’t one of them. Like the rest of Tir’s retainers, Cleo is stranded in Light, quite far from her master. Still, her Fire Rune, granted by Leknaat, certainly givers her a leg up on her fellow soldiers. Nevertheless, fighting a Fire Emblem archer like Wil still has some downsides (like those irritating counters), so she'll have to really crank up the heat with Explosion and finish it before he can launch a deadly counterattack.

The legendary bowman of Lyn's Legions enters the arena with steady hand and sure aim. Although his opponent is a loyal retainer like himself, the two fighters have little else in common: Cleo is a temperamental practitioner of sword-and-sorcery, while Wil is a cheerful master of bow-and-arrow. Given that neither fighter is particularly tricky, this will be a straight-up, man-to-man affair where the better combatant succeeds. Undoubtedly, though, Wil’s unerring aim and excellent strength growth will be to get him to the next round.

"That has absolutely no right to have worked." Alen muttered as Cleo walked off the battle floor, triumphantly waving to the crowd.

"Hey. Titania made it work." Cleo grinned, flashing the throwing sword with "WEAPUN TRIANGEL ADDVANTIGE" scrawled on it with a crayon to the audience. "And who am I to deny Peppita her right to scribble on something?"
