Season 48, Week 1
Rapp
(Grandia)

DEATHSWORD. About as subtle as a nose picking teenager... oh wait, this -is- Rapp we're talking about here. He'll just take that as a compliment! He isn't regal like Alicia and Rapp certainly lacks her healing, but he's got two things that Dipan's princess lacks. A lot of speed and Instant Death. Rapp wins his fight with blitzing tactics, forgoing any attempt at defense to instead apply more and more pressure. Neo Demon Ball is as explosive as the name implies, and Rapp's other SP fueled techs are certainly nothing to scoff at either. Deep resources? Staying power? Magic? Who needs em when you have 100% accurate Instant Death and can run circles around your foe!

The mentally imbalanced princess of Dipan once again accepts the ordeals of the Duelling League and steps up to the arena, ready to face her fears! Fortunately, her first match won't be something to be scared of. While Rapp, the long-eared brat from Grandia, may be very fast and brutish, he lacks the tools to deal with the schizophrenic swordgirl: his Deathsword tech will be useless against Alicia's instant death blocker, and his damage is rather poor. And, at an opportune moment, all Alicia needs to do to end the fight is to go all out and unleash the might of Nibelung Valesti. The gods smile upon Alicia, and she shall make good use of her great fortune!

Cryo
Alicia is, more or less, a Valkyrie Goddess. Being as she is a Valkyrie, it is her duty to take the souls of dead heroes into herself and call upon them as Einherjar, a duty her "Sisters" have reminded her carries over into the DL. So in short, anyone defeated by one of the sisters becomes one of their Einherjar.

Alicia, however, has a slight problem. Unlike her sisters, she doesn't have as much control over the people she carries along in her head, and so she has to listen to them. Hearing voices can be a bit strange, but Alicia has dealt with it pretty well. Generally the worst thing about it is the occasional bickering between one hero who may have killed another. Certainly a disconcerting thing to have in your head, but not really sanity-shattering by itself.

It wouldn't be so bad, she thought. Heal, attack, Heal, attack... and keep it up until Rapp was ready to join her entourage. She figured it would be all right...

Until she heard him talk.

Then she thought about hearing that voice. In her head. Forever.

The DL can be a pretty violent place, but even Myria was shocked when Alicia quite literally ripped out Rapp's throat with her bare hands.
