Season 47, Week 3
Terra Branford
(Final Fantasy VI)

The gentle half-esper Terra Branford certainly is familiar with TimeLord's infamous exploits and nigh-endless Duelling League history. And she thinks he could certainly stand to learn a lesson from his antics. Well, this time, Terra will deliver that valuable aesop about not engaging in mischief herself. TimeLord's Overdrive is quite frightening, sure, but Terra can stop Time Eclipse's petrifying death with an anti-stone accessory, and his Griffith Scratches certainly won't scare the Esper with her excellent defenses. Once TimeLord is done, a single casting of Ultima will be his doom, and a valuable lesson will be learned: don't try to get funny with a lady. And if he tries to bring the babies? Well, Terra's mind is steeled - that, and she's got Locke present to, ah, "acquire" such distractions before they can stop her iron resolve! This week's for Celes!

So Terra is up against THE TimeLord. Do we honestly think Terra is going to be able to recoup from having the population of the planet decimated by giant flying toddlers that are trapped inside torture spheres, who like to make the universe as much a pain for others as it was for them when they escaped from the Heat Death of the universe much like THE TimeLord himself? I think not. TimeLord is going to get to continue to abuse the sidekick parody that he has (and will in the future take over the mind of abandoning her to his own week flesh as it dies) and enjoy dancing to Voodoo Child by Rogue Traders as the torture babies get to their killing. Oh, and he can totally like take over the whole planet with some catchy drum beats. He is like KOMPRESSOR but supercharged. Also, Overdrive kicks in the face repeatedly work pretty well too probably.

"Ok, I understand why you forfeited, Terra, I mean, no sense in facing an unwinnable fight, but...why did he even agree to your terms when he had an easy win?" said the Onion Knight

"If there's one thing I learned from Setzer, its to negotiate...though, I suppose he must have seen some way to benefit from this on a personal level..." Terra replied

"...say, I'm still a bit shakey on just what Timelord promised to do..."

"He promised to force anyone who tries to do anything to someone under the age of 15 relive their own childhood, and subject them to Albedo's Child Psychology for a week..."

"That's kind of...wait, doesn't that plan kind of contradict itself?"

"Yes, but I think Timelord wants to prove that as a master of time, he can force Albedo to be in two places at the same time" she said, smiling
