Season 46, Week 3
Guile
(Chrono Cross)

A masked magician. You'd think a wimpy little girly man who can barely lift a weapon, and you would be so very, very wrong. Guile is amazingly tough - in fact, he can take more punishment than Serge in a battle! He needs it, truthfully, with all the insults and abuse thrown his way for his inverted grid. Not that his grid matters here, he'll be stuck with his three strong techs - although stuck is quite the negative term for such a setup. Guile's unholy magic should quickly rip up Tai Ho, who rarely shows up to a fight sober and surely won't take a weirdo with a mask with the grave seriousness that would be needed to win. It's his funeral.

Who knew that Tai Ho's lucky fisherman's hat would prove to be lucky in other areas too? It's true, his reliable ol' Silver Hat may now be adorned with his various sponsors for the fishing tour. NateCorp, Gobi Fishing, HammerCo, all the patches are there. Despite the new decorations, the hat still halves dark just like before! Guile's got three shots of dark magic, each weaker than before. It's a simple matter of attrition. Tai Ho's quite the hardy fellow in battle, able to take those three shots and dish out his own damage in the meantime. The whole exchange will end with Guile sinking to the briny deep, with Tai Ho on his way to the Light Semifinals.

Taishyr
As with the Geshp vs. Maxim match, both sent in their seconds for the duel. Guile arranged for this, on the principle that Tai Ho, as it stood, would have won the match; plus, Guile had a trump card...

Guile sent in Street Fighter Guile as part of the Fighting With Guile club agreement.

Tai Ho sent in Akuma, bribing him with a huge fish.

Neither Guile stood any chance.
