Season 46, Week 2
Sue
(Grandia)

C'MON PUFFY!!! It's time to cheer for that adorable little scamp, Sue! Heroes and heroines may skew towards the younger set, but Sue shows just how fresh a hero can be by traversing the land, slaying monsters and making the world a better place with age in the single digits! Her crossbow is a deadly and underrated weapon, and she's a crack shot with it to boot. More than that, she and her friend Puffy combine for a rousing cheer that always makes her feel better in a fight! Her opponent Guile packs quite a punch with his shadow techniques, but Sue is strong enough to survive the few shots of magic, leaving him easy pickings for the plucky youngster. It'll be a fight to remember, and with the fans behind her, she'll prove why everyone always cheers for the little guy (or girl)!

There’s a rare treat in store for DL Light this season, as the enigmatic and magician Guile graces the arena once more with his presence. And who is the one to sully his imposing build and mighty magic? A little girl, just a little girl. Sue might have pluck taking on a skilled magician such as himself, but her panache, while earning respect from the sorcerer, won't help her win this fight. Instead of giving his all, Guile will have to hold back to not hurt her too badly. After all she isn’t exactly durable... or damaging. On the other hand, Guile's combo of staff whacks and powerful magic is rather fearsome. One flurry of rapid blows to the stomach with his trusty rod may very well send Sue to her knees, making the match his. And very little else will be necessary. A simple fight.

Months of hard training with Puffy have left Sue in the best shape of her young life, ready to take on all comers. (And in case Albedo comes, that nice man Ghaleon agreed to watch Sue's back. The sounds of Ultimate Suffering were heard several times throughout the match.)

She came in, ready to burn Guile to ASH. Guile merely came in, and showed why he was a skilled magician. With one wave of his hand, Puffy vanished from Sue's shoulder and vanished into the ether. Sue may wield a mean mace, but without Puffy her offense was lacking. Guile easily overcame the Puffyless Sue.

;_; At least Guile was nice enough to summon Puffy back after the fight. Which was a mistake, as he promptly got third degree burns all over his.. ahem.. rear via intense and repeated use of Puffy Fire. Appeals to the crowd and Ghaleon for help got him laughed at and Hell Waved, respectively.
