Season 5, Week 3
Rune Walsh
(Phantasy Star 4)

For the second time in as many matches, Rune faces a swordsman who does a turn as an ally early in his game. Delita's Holy Sword skills will certainly hurt Rune, but the Esper's in good shape. With Delita forced to block instant death with a valuable equipment slot, lest he fall quickly to Negatis, he'll be less formidable than normal. Which leaves it to Rune to strike his heavily-armoured and hence slightly slower foe down with his Legeon spell before Delita can return the favour.

Everyone's favorite manipulator, Delita, is in for a fast fight regardless of what happens, this week. On one hand, Delita has some incredibly powerful attacks in his Holy Sword skills, plus a 25% chance of silencing, confusing, or instantly killing his foe, Rune... all of which would make him very unhappy. Even if this doesn't happen, he can use his incredible damage to simply bash down his low-HP foe, and thankfully, he stops Rune's instant death attacks. However, he better hope that all that is enough, because his shields aren't helping against perfect hit rate skills, and there's only so long he can take that level of punishment...

Dark Holy Elf
Delita hadn't become king by being a moron, or even a fair player. And he knew that in order to best his opponent, Rune, in his second RPGDL match, he'd need to outwit his opponent. Fortunately, as much credit as he owed his foe's intelligence, he knew he had the perfect plan. He knew what he had to say during the match that would fool his opponent into losing.

Rune, on the other hand, only knew not to trust his crafty foe the moment he opened his mouth, and silenced him with Seals as his opening attack.

MeepleLard
Delita entered the Fight prepared as usual, with an Aegis shield knowing his opponent was Magic Based...

Shame Delita didn't tkae into account that Legeon isn't exactly as avoidable as it seems, nor that Mages who can equip Shields actually exist...and in Rune's Case, Mages who can use 2 of them.
