Season 45, Week 4
Xorn
(Grandia 3)

What's the best way to handle a smarmy rich kid? A good SMASH. Xorn may be in touch with his inner loser, but don't mock his combat prowess - you'll regret it. He has enough offense to level most any Godlike with a swat of his hands, and that's ignoring his blistering speed. All he has to do this week is crush Nate - a puny healer - under his giant tentacled tyrannical body. All love must perish! All good shall be crushed under Xorn's hand! And so shall those stupid rich kids who dare to mock a god and pick a fight with nothing more than a stupid helmet and a katana. This is just an insult to someone as mighty as Xorn.

It doesn't matter how big or nasty they get, emo kids are always a pathetic lot. Nate Nanjo has moved far beyond dealing such punks in his daily life, but he can still punish them in a snap. Nate's defensive fighting style handles Xorn's magic and his scary Death Knell attacks quite well, leaving him with just his physical. Nate will be badly pressed to do anything but heal once Xorn drops below half life, and yet, he doesn't care. Light-All will let him constantly damage Xorn without wasting turns on offense, letting him leisurely cast Elixir on himself and pummel this Nyarlathotep wannabe into the dirt.

"Sorry to hear about your loss, Nate. You got so close... just two more fights. But eh, guess it can't be helped, right?" Ramus said, sipping some lemonade as he looked over at Nate, who just shrugged.

"It happens. There's not much to say about it, you know? You take what victories you can and make yourself a better man with them."

"Good. I'm glad you aren't taking it too seriously." Ramus grinned. Nate looked up, confused.

"Not taking it seriously?"

"ALL COMMAND ECONOMIES MUST PERISH! GOVERNMENT CONTROL OF PRIVATE BUSINESSES HAVE NO PLACE IN THIS WORLD!"

As Ramus gaped at Xorn, Nate just smiled. "Hey, he got what he wanted, I get what I want. It works, no?"
