Season 45, Week 3
Emeralda
(Xenogears)

In an unusual event, Emeralda now faces another robot maiden much like herself. And while the two are worlds apart, entirely different in form and function, they've even faced similar hardships throughout their spans of functioning time, losing centuries due to being deactivated. In light of this, the outcome of a duel between the two seems somewhat irrelevant, but Emeralda certainly isn't going to hold any punches. Her blistering speed and Dark Beast are as potent as ever, and while her foe's statistics are generally obscene, careful analysis and application of her strengths may well see her through this rough-and-tumble match between the metallic titans. But if not, being able to bring a friend home afterwards will readily soothe any wound to her ego.

Prime directives are set; weapon systems, fine-tuned; Omega Body OS, fully functional. Combat unit T260G reports for combat, and her offensive capabilities are in full gear for anything that may stand in this robot's way. An analysis of T260G's opponent registers little threat: Emeralda Kasim, a nanomachine being whose shape-shifting abilities are far less impressive than they look, requiring a mere 7.45211% of T260G's war faring potential. Potential issues regarding lightning magic are negligible; the odds of Emeralda outslugging the robot in an all-out battle are exactly 0.00000311% at the most favorable estimates for the opponent. Final assessment is clear: victory is all but inevitable, and unit T260G shall advance without much trouble in her mission.

"...well." Citan said, looking at the piece of paper one final time. "I guess this does explain it all."

"Doesn't it?" Necrosaro mused. "All the questions, answered. Every single one."

Hiro shrugged. "Even seems to explain the issues Serge and his friends had with his world. Seems kinda... boring, though."

"Indeed. A Grand Unified Theorem, made to explain all existence. Truly a great achievement." Citan mused. "And we owe it all to T260G and Emeralda."

"Oh, really, T260G deserves the most credit." Emeralda demurred. "It was she who possessed the greater insight into the issue."

"Very well. For the sake of the match, at least, we can award T260G the win, right?" Hiro suggested.

"Sure. But for now, let's make sure we get this publicized. Such a revolutionary insight must not be supressed." Necrosaro mused. "Indeed, I almost feel at peace with everything, knowing this."

It was at this exact point that quantum mechanics kicked in at almost-null probability, and the piece of paper turned into a coconut.

T260G forgot to save his work, too.
