Season 45, Week 3
Red
(SaGa Frontier)

Suikoden mains have fallen far from grace. The might of Tir McDohl or Riou would leave Red shaking in his shoes. Lazlo, though? The only shaking will be from Red's most styling head, as he ponders the little Lazlo can do to him. Voice of Death is the former Razril Knight's main hope of any victory in Heavy, and that is denied to him- both from a Blood Chalice, or Alkaiser's immunity to status effects. What's left? Everlasting Mercy, the bad Shining Wind knockoff that doesn't even heal the mute wonder? A physical that won't even dent the Ultimate Superhero's shining armor? All of that will be burned to ash by Re-Al-Phoenix, powered by the spirit of the young man who so ruthlessly crushed BlackX.

Despite Red's tragic history and tale of honorable vengeance, he will never be the true hero Lazlo is. A true hero must forgive those that have wronged him and only fight those the enemies of the innocent, without thought of revenge in his heart. It is these qualities, unheard of in all but the noblest heroes, that allowed Lazlo to finally tame the destructive homicidal urges of the Rune of Punishment, truly becoming its master. And that mastery, coupled with Lazlo's natural agility, will allow him to pummel the superhero with a relentless assault, which even his famous durability will be unable to stave off. Heroism is in one's soul, not their powers or costumes, and it's time Red learned this fact.

Gatewalker
The power of a True Rune. Few things in any world can hope to even survive standing against one of these emblems of primal power, much less defeat one. Especially one with as much offensive might and will to destroy as the Rune of Punishment.

How unfortunate for Lazlo that defending the world from horrible magic of ultimate destruction is just one of those things that superheros do.

One dramatic pre-battle speech, two Re-Al Phoenixes and one lecture on Power and Responsibility later, and Lazlo had seen the light and swore to repent of his villainous ways and fight for JUSTICE from now on.

Red was rather pleased with himself on how easily that went until Jennifer reminded him that Lazlo was never actually a bad guy in the first place and his whole speech was really just preaching to the choir.

Hey, even the Ultimate Superhero is allowed to have off days.
