Season 44, Week 4
Chaos
(Final Fantasy)

It's time for a classic Godlike match. A clash between two titans of the battle arena. Two supreme evils, no less: one who has managed to subvert the structure of space and time itself, and one who is...a giant bug with too much static electricity built up. Right. Well, Chaos shrugs off lightning with ease, but surely such a high-ranked duelist as Jade has something else up his sleeve to handle the poor fool who tries to take him down! For example, Chill! Wait, Chaos resists that, too. And to top it all off, Chaos can completely restore his already-high HP, not to mention that he has a far, far more diverse skillset outside of that. This is one match Jade stands no chance of winning, as Chaos advances one step closer to the top of the DL!

The fearsome general of the Empire bravely steps forward to the semifinals once again, trusty BoltX in tow, absolutely certain nothing can stop him. And, if it depends on the time-traveling evil of Final Fantasy I, his confidence is definitely justified. While Chaos is well-known for his massive elemental resistances and strong boss healing, his own HP and the highly limited nature of Cure 4 will be his downfall. With his own daunting durability, damage (in spite of BoltX being resisted), and even a bit of a speed advantage, Jade will make short work of the monstrous being far before he manages to cast a Cure 4 spell even once. Maybe the finals will give Jade something resembling a challenge, since the semis certainly aren't it.

Tonfa
Chaos. A state of existence where no laws or rules of the universe apply, where time paradoxes are created, and countless tiny psyducks are born. You cannot possibly defeat such a thing, can you?

Well, all it takes is an even stronger consistency. And Jade is known for exactly one thing in the DL.

BoltX. BoltX. BoltX. Once again, the most simple plan proves to be the most effective.
