Season 44, Week 3
Chaos
(Final Fantasy)

Really, Chaos isn't so different from a Harmonixer when you think about it. He is a being forged by the will of the four fiends and commands all of their powers in battle. Rather like the way Kurando uses Jutendouji and Tsukiyomi, Chaos commands his own demons. Thus this isn't a battle of pure combat - though Chaos could win that handily with Cure 4 and patience - but a batter of master against master in the arena. So look at Chaos! He commands the four primal elements of nature! What does Kurando command? A moon spirit and some sort of loincloth clad ruffian from an old story? It hardly compares, and it's not too hard as a result to figure out why Chaos obliterates Kurando.

A mighty demon, existing outside the flow of time, powerful enough to unravel the fabric holding reality together? This is truly the sort of opponent Kurando was born and bred to face. Chaos is unusual compared to the demons of Kurando's home world, designed for longevity with peerless defense and curative magics rather than the usual status spells. This plays straight into Kurando's hands, as the blistering speed of Jutendouji, and the non-elemental Ascetic's Fire, will easily allow him to bypass Chaos' defenses in a flurry of blows that will deny the demon an opportunity to heal. A brutal and ruthless path to victory, but no more than a despicable being like Chaos deserves.

The Inugami line has fused and mastered control over demons for countless centuries. What the Harmonixers haven't mastered (as proven by one Yuri Volte Hyuga) is mastery over time travel. More than that, Kurando's explosive physical blitzing offense is up against one of Godlikes' great physical tanks- one who can heal to boot. It won't be long before Kurando is out of MP and SP, flailing away at Chaos while the demonic master of the Four Fields laughs and blasts Saki's son halfway back to Japan with a hasted physical chain.
