Season 44, Week 1
Bowie
(Shining Force 2)

Bowie isn’t exactly the most talkative guy in the world, although he isn’t a silent main. Still, he attracts tons of ladies with his roguish charm and good looks, it must be said... But this kind of lady isn’t quite what he’s used to in his elf pixie Sarah or the Princess. She is a monstrous beast, a man eater. She is a dangerous chick with her Aqua Lung and generally high durability, but there is nothing that a creature of any sort - good or bad - hates more than a good ol’ lightning bolt to the face, over and over, followed up with sword smashes to ensure the demonic creature is destroyed until its next dueling appearance. All the evil and bad deeds that Sephiroth’s mother has done with her son, and all of it was ended by an almost silent hero! The leader the Shining Force, destroyers of Zeon, will ride on, though, continuing to fight in the name of justice against evil everywhere.

A world-destroying menace, long-sleeping Jenova finally rises from her slumber to terrorize the Duelling League once again! And, as good puppets, those fools have sent their forces to try and thwart Jenova's rampage through Heavy... but sadly, it seems they're undermanned. Bowie, Shining Force leader, may have looked impressive back in his zany adventures against Zeon and what must have been fascinating competition. But Jenova is far more competent than that bodiless moron. Alone, the swordsman can only rely on his limited lightning magic and sword strikes. With a gigantic speed edge, burning strikes to crush the "Shining Leader" and Silence to mock his Bolt 4 spell, and that's just counting what she can do with one of her many forms. Bowie can pick his poison, as Jenova can adapt to crush this pest in no time flat. Mwehehehehehehehehe... mwahahahahahahahaha!

Namagomi
An intrepid hero, wielding the Force Sword and magic that could call down the fury of the heavens.

A gigantic alien monstrosity, directly responsible for the death of an entire race, and indirectly responsible for the advent of one of the most infamous Godlikes of all time.

One arena...

While this posed to be an epic battle, any thoughts of Bowie doing anything were cut short as soon as he suddenly froze in place, struck down effortlessly by Jenova's casting of Stop.

At least he didn't have to feel the onslaught of lasers subsequently fired at him for anything longer than the most painful instant in the world before blacking out.

Bowie: 12
Jenova: 36
