Season 44, Week 1
Kefka
(Final Fantasy VI)

Kyaha Kyaha Kyha Kyhahaha! Kekekeke! Hahaha! Ahahahaha! Maintaining the image of a madman isn't the easiest job in the world, and Kefka’s working to keep up his reputation by practising villainous laughs. It seems as if he’s doing a good job. Of course, it’s not as if it’s hard to find good laughter-provoking material this season. Sizing up his opponent for the first round made Kefka nearly keel over in amusement. In fact, when you look at it closely this fight is enough to induce mocking laughter in anyone, even if they're sane. Just look at the sheer patheticness of Lugia against Kefka’s might - Fallen One, Havoc Wing ... waahahaha. Poor Lugia doesn’t stand a chance against such skills. Join the crazy clown as he laughs all the way to victory. It’s going to be fun!

The majesty of the air-dwelling Lugia, towering over all creation as it swiftly traverses the ocean of clouds, is quite a sight to behold. And lo, this beautiful entity graces the Duelling League with its awe-inspiring presence once again, ready to bring the audience a breath-taking display of natural power. Lugia's opponent, the reviled mad clown Kefka Palazzo, will be hard-pressed to break through Lugia's impossibly powerful defenses even with Havoc Wing, giving Lugia time to stall its way through tricks like Fallen One with Recover and occasional Aeroblast beatings. Considering how frail Kefka is, this shouldn't take long. After felling this one-winged jester, Lugia will soar the skies once again, bringing a glimpse of the sheer majesty of a true emperor of the heavens.

Lugia knew this match wasn't going to be easy. Being one of the more intelligent Pokemon, it needed to resort to cunning and psychic powers to take it!

...unfortunately, looking into the mind of Kefka is like opening a canned soda after its been put into a blender and miraculously not opened yet...that has been fused with plutonium.

I'm not sure what the analogy entails, but the point is, its dangerous. So much that Lugia couldn't look into Kefka's mind for more than 2 seconds without the risk of being mentally scarred, and what he DID see...well, lets just say there's a reason he went the route of forfeiting.

Kefka: 53
Lugia: 12

Let's see...

Most dangerous Final Fantasy villain in creation - Giant Bird.

Gee, wonder who'll win?
