Season 43, Week 3
Fu So Ya
(Final Fantasy IV)

The surface of the moon. As ancient as the sky and stars, and pockmarked from it's escape from the long obliterated planet that held the Lunarian people. FuSoYa's not quite -that- old, but the crafty veteran's seen more combat than most Godlikes ever will. His mastery of both schools of magic gives him countless weapons to take out foes as soon as he can muster the energy to move. Much like in his fight with Duran, FuSoYa's going to use one of his handy status attacks and literally wipe his foe out of existence. The spell itself doesn't matter so much, just that it's brutally crippling. With nearly a dozen such spells in hand and Flare -and- healing -and- a bevy of support spells... yeah. It's an overwhelming magical assault, and not one a mere 'hero' like Brad Evans can handle.

Time and again Brad has found his matches in the Dueling League cut short by someone with a fancy sword or weird beguiling magic. It's time for him to break out some tricks of his own- the kind honed from years of experience on the battlefield and in the jailhouse. As a former Heavy, Brad has every advantage in this match. While usually he can rely on his endurance and durability to absorb his opponents first strike while building up to a more devastating counter-blow, the ancient Fu So Ya is about as sluggish and frail as, well... an old man! Brad will have the first shot, and it's sure to be the only one he'll need. It's almost unfair to blast a senior citizen with a Lock-On Railgun, but on the bright side, the shot may have enough velocity to launch Fu So Ya back home- into orbit!

You know, there's ways to get back to the Moon besides the Big Whale. Like, I don't know, a railgun blast that pierces the heavens? Ow, poor FuSoYa.
