The gardens of the universe will blossom in joy once again, for the mighty Mariel has returned to the arena! Packing all sorts of blossoms and fruit, she shall fill this wasteland with flowers and bring life to this barren world! However, she first has to face battle, and her initial challenge in that ordeal is Jewel. The girl's Water Rune, sharp sword and quick feet, could prove problematic to the gentle Mariel. However, with her unlimited healing and powerful buffing opportunities, Mariel can easily outlast Jewel's terrible resource pool! And slowly, slowly whittle the knight tomboy with slaps until she collapses in exhaustion, of course. This is a terrible thing to do when you're trying to revive a planet, but Mariel will not give her dream up! |

One of the stronger of Lazlo's academy friends, Jewel intends to make her presence known in the arena this Light season. People may question her character, mostly due to her atrocious taste in men, but Jewel is not the type to hit a small, defenseless girl no matter what anyone says...unless it's in the arena, that is! Mariel could very well be in for a rough time, as Jewel's strength is going to be more than she can handle. She's as durable as her namesake, with healing to boot - Mariel is going to have a tough time putting a scratch on Jewel's armored exterior. Heck, Mariel's gloved hands may not end up doing more than polishing Jewel's armor, allowing her to shine all the more this season as she steps over the little girl to victory. |
SageAcrin You know what really blows? Being such a bad fighter that the opponent, rather than fighting you normally, discusses how cute you look in that outfit. Mariel did the only thing she possibly could have, under the circumstances, and called Asgard over to step on Jewel. I mean, it didn't work, Asgard can't enter cities, but it was the thought that counted. Mariel at least got to spend the latter half of the slow, painful beating and random fahsion tipping she recieved during the match fantasizing about Asgard flattening Jewel. That's something.
