Season 5, Week 1
KOS-MOS
(Xenosaga Series)

Falling the smallest fraction of a point short of the Godlike division, Xenosaga Epoisode 1's resident combat android KOS-MOS is out to settle for smashing Heavy instead. And with her high stats across the board, and a mix of techs both damaging and debilitating, KOS-MOS has what it takes to put down most opponents. Against Yuiri, she'll probably want to open with S-Chain to reduce her opponent's Defence, Speed, and Accuracy down to pitiful levels, then smash the already physically frail Suikoden archer with her punishing R-Dragon. With other options such as an Ether Limit-powered X-Buster or F-Scythe at her disposal, KOS-MOS has all the tools to triumph even if her opponent tries to get tricky with her Wind Rune... assuming she lives that long.

Nature-loving archer/mage Yuiri has one thing in common with her robotic opponent KOS-MOS, and one thing only: they're both commonly found in girl/girl slash with-- wait, that's not it. Both have exceptional critical hit rates on their already respectable attacks. Otherwise, Yuiri is a totally different style of fighter than her opponent, emphasising quick status attacks with Wind of Sleep and healing, along with her monster criticals to put away sleeping opponents. If she can play a lucky game with her sleep spell, there's no reason that she can't pull an upset. However, she can't afford any mistakes, since she is at a severe durability disadvantage in this fight.

Dark Holy Elf
Yuiri has high magic defence, which protects her to some extent from the stupidly powerful X-Buster.
Sadly, as KOS-MOS showed in her debut match, X-Buster, gamebest damage or not, isn't even her best tactic against PCs. Rather, the Grasslander archer fell victim to S-Chain + R-Dragon. Isn't a triple status attack that halves defence as one of its effects mean?
