Season 42, Week 2
Sasarai
(Suikoden III)

Well, well, well. Master Sasarai of Harmonia takes a leave from Duelling League duties for a couple dozens of seasons and look at the mess we find, the execrable vampire Neclord playing around in the arena. This True Rune thief needs a lesson taught to him by someone actually worthy of their powers and wisdom, that's for sure. And Sasarai may no longer wear that neat hat, but he certainly can cope with putting this worthless monster to sleep once more. With the Flowing and True Earth Runes, the young Harmonia bishop can easily bury this vampire's foolish attempts to rise into power - quite literally, even. A couple of castings of Land of Eternity should serve as quite a fitting, inglorious grave to this meager defiler. Sasarai certainly has better things to do with his time than this, but Neclord will serve as a passable warm-up.

Vampires are pretty frightening monsters as is, nevermind the fact that this one has the power of a powerful rune to boot. After many seasons of waiting- as well as maybe a new bride or two- the vampiric bearer of the Moon Rune is back to instill fear and distress among the combatants of the Duelling League. Oh, and, of course, to win a Heavy championship. Neclord may have missed his mark last time, but things will be different this time around. Bishop Sasarai of Holy Harmonia is his adversary, and, although his True Earth Rune might very well pose some problems for our evil vampire lord, Neclord's demonic powers are well known and should be more than a match for the holy man; even Sasarai's frame, boosted by the True Rune, stands no chance against Neclord and his physical blows. Now, who will be Neclord's next victim?

SageAcrin
Sasarai.

Master of knowledge.

He knew the weaknesses of all the vampires in his world.

But he was not naive enough to assume that all vampires were the same as his own, oh no.

He'd found the greatest source of lore about vampires ever. About a family of vampire hunters without peer.

But Sasarai's physique was not up to mimicing them, sadly.

But...

"I don't need you mocking me." Sasarai said. "Where are all the guards, anyways?"

"Sleeping." Luc shrugged. "And yes, you do. They may mock me the most, but I never tried to crossdress as Sonia Belmont. And the fact that you "researched" Neclord without knowing that he has a thing for pretty girls..."

"...so I wanted to get back to playing Rondo of Swords. Is that so wrong? These fights are foolish anyways." Sasarai shrugged. "Besides, I still have a better record than you, more fans, and I don't angst about True Runes giving me limitless life and infinite power..."

"...you...didn't have to...to..."

"Oh, stop crying." Sasarai said to the sniffling Luc in disgust.

Sasarai: 29
Neclord: 32
