Season 41, Week 3
Claus F. Lester
(Tales of Phantasia)

The forces of darkness seem hellbent on stopping Claus this season. The grumpy Euclid summoner had to dispatch a body-swapping, evildoing, glorified furry last week, and his opponent in this new day is darker: hauled as the Sinistral of Destruction, mighty against all things living, Gades rushes in sporting waves of destruction and death. But Claus is certainly not scared of -that-. Bringing mighty minions to the table such as Origin and the elementals that bring balance to his world, and having successfully faced the ruthless Dhaos in a fight for survival, Claus can scoff at Gades' supposed world-destroying powers. A few castings of Gremlin Lair and judicious usage of his magical summoner rings, bringing him the durability he needs to withstand Gades' fiery soul-reaving attacks, will be enough to put Gades down.

Aww. So the puny summoner wants a crack at the Sinstral of Destruction? How cute. Gades is supremely confident in his abilities for a reason- he's as strong as his title would impress upon those lesser mortals, in the Arena and outside of it. Wielding a giant sword flowing with the dark energies of evil is flashy, sure, and perhaps a bit distracting, but the impact's just as brutal as rumor has told. Undead draws upon that aura, giving him even more power than before. Destroy? Hahaha. It lives up to it's name, cleaving far tougher foes than Claus in twain before they can so much as react to his actions. All the magic and elemental resistance in the world doesn't do any good against a demoniacally powerful swordsman like Gades. Whimper and beg, for that's the only recourse for mortal flesh against the face of true evil and power!

The votes are in. Gades wins this wet T-Shirt competition in a landslide. You know you want him.
