Season 40, Week 5
Ted
(Suikoden IV)

Ted and Lassic have more in common than you'd think. Both know what it is like to live multiple generations floating around in space, randomly popping up later in their respective series, and both have facial problems. There is still one key difference, however. Ted serves good; Lassic is a harbinger of evil. While good may be dumb, good will always triumph in the end, no matter what Lord Helmet thinks. This is an important fact in this Heavy Championship, as both fighters are looking for their first title. Ted's got the incredibly powerful Soul Eater rune on his side. He can't simply cast Deadly Fingertips and win the way Tir might, but fortunately, Judgement packs more than enough might. With the Championship on the line, Ted is going to pull out all the stops and really let Lassic taste its full power!

Lassic is an ancient evil, having existed as a facet of the Profound Darkness' power for literally thousands of years in the Algo system. Now, in the DL arena, he faces off with another elderly sorcerer. However, as Ted has only lived a paltry few hundred years, Lassic still holds a massive edge in experience, and this isn't the only advantage the evil King holds over his seemingly young opponent. Against Lassic's tremendous durability, even the power of Judgement won't be enough to force him to yield, and the powerful swings of Lassic's Thunder Halberd will cause incredible damage to the physically frail mage. Soon the Heavy title will be in his grasp, and Lassic will be able to fight in the halls of Godlike, proudly hanging alongside his hallowed masters of darkness.

The evil king, slain"

"So which is better, Master Tir?"
"..."
"The first. I thought so. For such a dark creature, you'd think Lassic would do better against Judgement. No matter."
