Season 40, Week 2
Sofia
(Dragon Warrior IV)

How the mighty have undeservingy fallen. Sofia, the legendary heroine, savior of the Dragon Warrior IV world, once Heavy champion and former Godlike... now, back in Heavy, against... a Geohound. With unimpressive attacks and little more than a rusted tongue and bad taste in women to back him up. Well, this means Sofia will have to up the ante some and show why she was once a Godlike and deserving of the title. With her trusty Zenithian Armor to protect from the Geohound's dull sword, copious amounts of healing, and some devastating lightning magic by her side, the promised lady will easily fend off this worthless cur. And that's just her first step to dominate Heavy... once again.

Well, the lovably cynical Geohound Ryudo is back for another go in the arena, and by Granas' name, is that a doozy. Ryudo is up against a promised warrior legend, a lady warrior at that! Well, that'd be a nice thing to look at, but Sofia's build is rather unkindly manly, possibly due to genetical woes... but never mind that. The Geohound has two prettier ladies waiting for him anyway, and all he needs to do here is land a couple Sky Dragon Slashes with the mighty Granasaber to show the true power of a god to the promised (unkindly manly) lady warrior. After all, Ryudo's been through quite a few ups and downs, but that's just the usual for a hero, no? He's sure Sofia will understand the irony.

"Scuba diving. We are judging a bloody SCUBA DIVING CONTEST." Killer growled, leaning against the chair. Viktor shrugged in reply. "It's something to do, you know?"

"And Gobi's having entirely too much fun. Can we just kill him?"

"No."

"Damn. Well, tell me when either Sofia or Ryudo manage to get the chest up, I-"

A massive bolt of lightning slammed into the waters, causing a shockwave that rattled the judge's stand. Killer jumped in surprise. "What the..."

Gobi's body floated to the surface, face down, followed slowly by Ryudo's. Sofia was the last up, swimming and panting with the chest in her hands. "Congratulations, you surviv-" Viktor began.

Another bolt of lightning blasted Viktor off across the sand dunes. Killer blinked before looking to Sofia, who was growling audibly. "Take it. It's yours." As the heroine moved off, Killer watched in mixed shock and admiration. "Well, that's one way to win a match. Fendspell and mass electrocutions..."
