Season 39, Week 3
Barbarossa
(Valkyrie Profile)

After dispatching one of Lenneth's wretched Einherjar in the arena, the king of Dipan raises his gigantic sword over his headless shoulders for yet another struggle. The elven warrior Artea may not have the sheer slugging power of Lawfer, but he certainly has better resilience to the ruler's magical assault. But this is not a problem: Dignity Mayhem should put a nice dent on the elf regardless, and no amounts of cheap healing can help him against the sheer destructive power of Calamity Blast, capable of felling even the strongest of gods! And Barbarossa, while not as quick as Artea, certainly has the durability to endure his holy assault until Calamity Blast kicks in. Walther! Gyne! Dallas! Give the king guidance, for the glory of Dipan!

The elven warrior steps up the ante! Artea, wielding valorous magic and a rarely seen sense of honor, is now against the cursed king Barbarossa, who is himself search for the lost glory of Dipan's past. However, Artea shall put this undead, headless ruler to rest. With the might of his Zap spell, alongside brilliant magical resilience and nigh-endless castings of Valor, the elf can survive nearly any magical assault Barbarossa tries to pull off without much fuss. Artea's speed will also guarantee he should get the drop on the armored foe, blasting him off with holy flames from the get-go - and Barbarossa is not particularly durable himself. All that taken into account, Artea has this in the bag - and may the semifinals be as leisurely as this match.

I really wish there was some witty way to explain this match but...well, there isn't.

All it comes down to is this.

Barbarossa < The Gods.
Elves = the Vessels of the Gods.
Artea = Elf.

Yet again, simple math and equalities work again!

Barbarossa: 26
Artea: 39
