Season 39, Week 1
Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear
(Tales of the Abyss)

Wielding the 7th fonon, a bow, as well as the hopes and dreams of her people, there's no stopping Princess Natalia when she sets her sights on something. Right now? She’s got her eyes on the title of Middle champion. Her bow shining like the stars above, she's ready to take down the perverted, test-tube baby Zidane Tribal with all her might. After all, it's the duty of a princess to ensure that sex offenders have no place in her kingdom! With her Celestial Star and a mix of supportive and healing magic, there's nothing she can't handle. Zidane's offensive capabilities are lacking, and with Natalia's resilience and Barrier spell, there's really nothing Zidane can do to damage her. Meanwhile, Natalia's long-range bow attacks will put too much pressure on the little genome, preventing him from getting a shot at her at all. Considering Zidane's lack of resilience, along with his lack of offensive punch, his chances of victory are looking slim. Finishing him off with a Noble Roar will be the crowning achievement of the battle, a testament of other victories to come!

While Zidane may often be looked upon as a source of mockery, when he steps into the arena, there is no doubt that he is a force to be reckoned with. As a genome, Zidane was created solely with the intent to bring war to world, and he has the immense battle skill required to perform his dreadful task. With his patented (and much maligned) Soul Blade technique, Zidane can inflict the status of his choice (and he has a number of good options) upon his opponent with unerring accuracy, which means that this match is unquestionably his. Poor Princess Natalia has no way to block against Zidane’s quick acting Doom Soul Blade, ending the match instantly. If the genome wants to create a spectacle for the crowd, he can use Mini and watch her damage, as well as her size, drop to nearly nothing, spending plenty of time tormenting the young woman on the arena floor. And, of course, with his high speed, Zidane will be able to debilitate the helpless princess before she can even nock her first arrow… that is, assuming he doesn’t melt the girl’s heart first.

Moonlight Bomber
Zidane never knew that his crew was involved in the making of "The Falena Scandal". All he thought was winning this match as a means of redemption from his lecherous ways.

And so, when he finally came face-to-face with Natalia, the first thing in his mind: Soul, Blade. He activated that skill, and the princess was reduced to the size of Thumbelina. He was about to score the winning blow when...

Edge came to the ringside from out of nowhere and shouted, "Hey, monkey boy! I heard your crew was badly beat up because they allegedly made a sex video involving a prince and his female bodyguard!"

Zidane reacted, "WHAT?! Why the heck would they do that after I lectured them time and again to follow my example and cut down on horniness?!"

Due to his rage, he immediately went to Trance mode and finally subdued a struggling, mini-sized Natalia with his Grand Lethal.

His victory was then declared, and later he found his crew in the infirmary, all wrapped in bandages.

Oh, the pain of someone who is changing his attitude while his homies do not.
