Season 4, Week 4
Sephiroth
(Final Fantasy VII)

Sephiroth finally has a challenge this week, and it's a doozy. Fou-Lu can't be beaten by a simple status attack, and Sephiroth's barrier attack is nulled by Sanctuary. Sephiroth, however, has tricks of his own. His devastating Shadow Flare attack ignores Fou-Lu's excellent defenses, and he's far faster than the Dragon God. That speed advantage will let him play games with his elevation and defensive spells, and other mixups as needed. No matter who comes out of top in this match, it's sure to be a match for the ages.

The God-Emperor of the Fou Empire is against a deadly foe this time around as he faces the most powerful creation of the Shinra Electric Company. While Sephiroth doesn't speak in an archaic accent, Fou-lu shouldn't give up his guard simply because his opponent isn't just like him. For starters, his power will be put to the test here as he squares off, without the benefits of his usual PC crushers. He'll have to take this one quickly, before Shadow Flare overcomes him. Still, the God-Emperor is in good shape as he goes into this battle!

Sir Alex
Fou-Lu and Sephiroth are very much alike. Sephiroth is faster. Fou-Lu is better in every other stat, in my view, has insane MDef and counters physicals with his own brutal one, and has assorted attacks at least as strong as Shadow Flare. He takes this, IMO.

Sephiroth: 3
Fou-Lu: 13
