Season 37, Week 2
Mewtwo
(Pokémon Series)

After many unworthy and unlucky matches, the psychic kitty of death finally meets a being that can at least compare to his staggering might - however, whether the lovestruck Belial's mind can hold up to Mewtwo's even more frightening mental power is questionable at best. The needy Crimson Noble controls space and gravity about as well as Mewtwo controls psyche and thought, and may be a speed titan on par with the deadly enhanced feline...however, her Tank Drops and Agony Effects are nowhere nearly as brutal as Mewtwo's soul-rending Psychics - which will certainly rip Belial apart in a single strike, as the numb lady is about as fragile as she is speedy and vindictive. As long as Mewtwo can rip through Belial's Distortions and keep up his momentum, he will not lose. After all, mind over matter - this is the singular truth of Mewtwo.

The seeming lethargy that Belial seems to emanate when near her lover Scythe is but a facade - that demure smile of hers hides a murderous legacy and bloodthirsty, merciless power. And this strange...mutated...kitty-cat(?) shall witness with his own eyes the indiscriminate wrath of a woman in love (especially considering Scythe is fighting in Middle as well. A lady has to keep up with her sweetheart). Her incredible speed gives her an edge against even the brutally fast Mewtwo, and Belial can use that to effortlessly wear his resources thin with a Distortion field, while repeated Tank Drops cut through his strength. And, if she wants to get rid of the nuisance, it should be fun to seal a cat inside the 4-D Pocket. This may not be the best show to please Scythe - but a win is a win, and Belial knows how to make a good spectacle for her lover...

In perhaps the fastest fight in DL history, Belial imprisoned Mewtwo in .083 seconds, ending the fight in literally a blink of an eye. Mewtwo's savage reputation and nasty habit of tormenting people even in loss made her waste no time in fighting.

[This is less than digified. Trapped in an alternate dimenson until someone frees me. Where's a random ninja when you need one?]

"Someone call for me!?" Mewtwo heard the voice from afar. The unmistakable sound of Edge's voice pierced the perfect calm of Mewtwo's prison.

[I did ask for it. Sigh.]

"Ask for what? Anyway, getting you out." Edge quickly sliced into the fabric of space-time and freed Mewtwo.

[How did you manage to do that?

"Ninja training. It doesn't matter. I need your help in bringing down Piastol."

[What will that require?]

"Just make everyone think I'm Gilbert. I'll handle the rest."

[An odd request, but fine. I'll do it now, as I have a match to judge.]

...

[There. Everyone will think you'll look like Gilbert. Have fun. Just leave me out of it after this.]

"Thanks. And... there we go, a big enough space for you to get out of this space. Now time for me to go teach Piastol a lesson!"
