Season 36, Week 4
Claude Kenni
(Star Ocean: The Second Story)

Dispatching a vile creature like Lezard Valeth only adds to Claude's now legendary reputation. The Warrior of Light's taken down the best Heavy has to offer this season without even so much as blinking, and now he gets to fight a misguided creature in the service of Myria. While Teepo's conflicted loyalties certainly make him more sympathetic than Amon or Lezard, he'll have no problem handing out the beating of a lifetime to Ryu's childhood friend. Teepo's damage is not only unimpressive, but it's physical and evadable - which means it'll be hard-pressed to hurt Claude, while Triple Blow won't do much to the tanky Ensign. With Energy Sword, he can heal at will and pound away with Mirror Slice. With the Sacred Tear as an option to both cut through Teepo's mystical dragon defenses and halve Claude's MP costs, he's in good shape for another battle to the death with yet another tough foe.

Once again Teepo has reached the semi-finals. His battle against the cold, unfeeling metal of drills and chainsaws behind him, Teepo now faces down advanced technology the likes most worlds have never seen. Ray guns, interstellar spaceships, crazy out-of-this-world philosophies about "points" and "advancing forward"...these are what will truly test Teepo's mettle this day. Claude is easily the toughest opponent he's faced so far this season, and possibly in his entire Duelling League career. However, Teepo is no slouch. His powerful Triple Blows are more than a match for Claude's durability, and his stellar defense and HP reserves can handle the damage Claude dishes out. Could this really be the match that determines this season's champion? Quite possibly. So pull up a chair, get a refreshing beverage and ready yourself for some top-notch carnage, courtesy of the RPGDL Arena.

"...doesn't that beat all. Teepo, don't you have any shame at all?" Rei asked.

Teepo, wearing a long, flowing, purple dress, simply shrugged.

"Well, it worked, didn't it?" "Yeah, but...oh, never mind." "Look, he thought I was the damsel that needed rescuing. It was a perfect ambush. Pride isn't worth getting my face stabbed. It worked. Now shut up." Teepo finished. Glaring at Rei, he turned on his (high) heel and strode off.

"...He's never really been the same after getting lost all those years, but I didn't think he'd be into that." Rei muttered to Momo.

Momo was too busy taking pictures of Teepo to reply.
