Season 36, Week 4
Albert Simon
(Shadow Hearts)

Albert may have the appearance of a refined and dapper gentleman, but make no mistake, anyone who gets in his way will end up on the receiving end of arcane punishment of fearsome proportions. The brash Valkyrie Hrist may have gotten this far, but she’ll find Albert to be a far tougher opponent than any she's faced yet in Heavy. With his variety of damaging tricks and his dreaded !!!, Albert has the tools and the durability to take down most anyone who could dare to cross him, whether they be boss or PC, and especially a Valkyrie. After all, when everything's said and done, what chance does a mere servant of the gods, bound to serve her masters and inferior to their power, have against a man so strong he can summon them?

A Valkyrie's work is never done. Although events in other battles last week have denied the eldest Goddess of Fate a chance to purify that meddling Lezard, she still has a lot to fight for. After all, the little sister is still up in Godlike having all the fun, and Hrist Valkyrie does not take being upstaged lightly. In order to remedy this situation, Hrist must now take her halberd to another old man who dabbles in the arcane arts. Much like Mazus, this old gentleman may try to get the best of her with his various cantrips, but he's doomed to be overmatched. Hrist's quick and deadly halberd-work, not to mention the wrath of Nibelung Valesti, will quickly claim another victim, and give Hrist something she could once only dream of: a chance at a Heavy championship.

You know, there are certain advantages to the modern, intelligent woman over the more dated stylish man.

The modern, intelligent woman has style, grace, yet brutal power when needed, a mixture of the old and the new in a remarkably beautiful form of both living and fighting.

The stylish man gets his face punched in.

...

Wait, no, that's just Albert Simon and Hrist.

Huh.

"I really didn't want to use my fist, though. Too much of a mess." Hrist said in disgust, as she deftly yanked her halberd from Albert Simon's face, leaving him to crumple slowly to the ground.

Sometimes, neither side of a match fits a cliche.

On the other hand...there's always room for an axe(-blade) to the face. Even if it happens to be attached to a halberd.

Albert Simon: 30
Hrist Valkyrie: 36
