Season 36, Week 3
Killer
(Shadow Hearts: From the New World)

Lady’s sweet call is beckoning Killer, and soon he can see his mistress face to face again. However, he first has to get past Tir if his sweet and slightly disturbing reunion can come to pass. While Tir has already offed Killer’s enemy Shania, for which Killer's grateful, the mass murderer’s didn’t get his nickname for being a gentle, caring sweetheart. With his heightened constitution, he should have no problems living through a Judgment, after which he has his choice of deadly accurate Silence, a death inducing physical, or a massive damage combo to try and take down the Silent Hero. Killer will not let his Lady’s call go unheeded.

Tir Mcdohl and his Soul Eater Rune rush forward into yet another duel between the finest warriors of the land. This time, however, he faces someone who understands the burden of life and death himself, a kindred soul with Tir. Killer may have several tricks up his deadly sleeve, but Tir has the sheer damage potential of Judgment on his side to ruin his day. He's up against some tough odds with Killer's Instant Death spells, but with enough brute force, anything is possible, and it's quite possible that Tir will be able to hit with Judgment before any physicals land. The Rune of Life and Death will see him through yet another battle.

Monkeyfinger
"A guy who kills his opponents by throwing knives at them?" Gremio said to his master Tir. "That Riou fellow who led the 108 stars after you has his fair share of experience dealing with that kind of thing. Perhaps you should talk to him."

"............."

"Uh.... oops. I guess Nanami and I will have to do all the talking for the two of you."

And so, to prepare his predecessor for his fight with Killer, Riou taught Tir the fine art of deflecting projectiles with a blunt weapon. Every time Tir messed it up, of course, Nanami cringed in pain.

After successfully batting aside 0 straight knives thrown by Rina, followed by 15 straight arrows shot by generic Matilda grunts, Tir nodded confidently and strutted towards the arena.

Now, because Riou was used to blocking things shot at someone else, he of course taught Tir all wrong. Didn't prepare him at all for dealing with things flying right at him.

Tir, realizing this just a little too late, shot Riou a look of pure murder right before the knife in his throat caused him to black out.
