Season 36, Week 3
Jecht
(Final Fantasy X)

Who's the best? Not some simpleton like Lady, that's for damn sure! Jecht's made of far sterner stuff than that - Sin's got far more power than Malice and all of its assorted vilians could ever hope to have. Braska's Final Aeon doesn't bother with any of the silliness that Lady does with combo attacks. Smash 'em hard with an oversized sword, pound 'em with fists of iron. Delay and Stone may not be of use in this bloody brawl, but Jecht sure as hell doesn't need such mean tricks against Lady. A creature with no will of her own, stand up to a star blitzball player? That's as laughable as the idea of Jecht's sad spawnling of a son standing up to him. Jecht's iron defenses are just the thing needed to shrug off the best that Lady can offer. It'll be one step forward for Jecht - take home a win here, and he inches closer to a Duelling League Godlike title to match his countless victories in the watery and violent world of Blitzball.

One down, three to go. The Lady in Blue has begun her malice-fueled conquest with a complete slaughter of a rare dragon-bird-thing, and now prepares to face something far more "interesting" - Braska's Final Aeon, Jecht, the self-styled "Best". Towering over her, it would seem as if this battle might be the end of Lady's romp through Godlike. But, as they say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Jecht's slow and, while rather durable, he sorely lacks in firepower. Lady, on the other hand, is quick and commands more raw destruction than an entire country's nuclear arsenal. Thankfully immune to Jecht's cheesy tricks, Lady can obliterate him with adeadly mix of offensive spells. A few hexes, followed by a Calamity Gaze and Malice Dirge combo, should paste Jecht with notable and devouring impunity. Nothing can stand in the way of the Malice Queen as she pushes onward. Nothing.

Monkeyfinger
Auron got Jecht shit faced drunk the night before his match with Lady, let him pass out, then bound him up and tossed him into a blitzball arena.

"Gee, you sure don't seem to want my dad to fight. Afraid he'll get destroyed?" Tidus said to Auron as he walked away from the big water filled sphere.

"No, no, kid. You know your father. He'll see his opponent, get aroused, chat her up. Lady will smile seductively back, and Jecht will move in for a kiss..." Tidus froze in place out of horror as he remembered what happened the last time Jecht got filled with an immense, evil power, and what happened to everything Lady managed to fill with her malice.

"You prepare for everything, old man. I don't know what I'd do without you." Tidus finally called out to the slowly moving away back of Auron. Auron just chuckled and kept walking.
