Season 36, Week 2
Rofel Wodring
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

Hmph, it has certainly been a long time for the fools in this league to invite the master Divine Knight back into the arena. Perhaps they were simply afraid of his great skill, terrified that no one would be able to stop him from claming his rightful place as Heavy champion? Well, their fears were nothing but justified. But still there are some brave fools who think to stand in his way. Fools like Lezard Valeth, who holds the unique distinction of being the only fighter to have been ranked in all four divisions in the League. While some might be frightened at the prospect of facing such an unpredictable foe, Rofel hesitates not. After all, while he has been in all divisions, the mage Valeth has only ever gotten any wins in Light, and couldn't manage to win it all even there. With his incredible defenses and mighty Swordskills, Rofel Wodring will send this lecherous fool of a valkyrie fanboy straight to HELL!

He was the rejected stalker of Lenneth Valkyrie, and went through hell and heaven to get his way. If you thought his original antics with homunculi were crazy, his sheer insanity in Valkyrie Profile 2 far outstrip that play. But, no matter what, Lezard is denied of his love. Still, nobody other than his beautiful Lenneth interests the transcendent one, especially after he became a god himself. Rofel and his pathetic band of Zodiac Demons may try to summon some minor dark powers to try to destroy a boy and his merry army of men, but none of that meager soul-selling nonsense can compare to the power of the Gungnir. Lezard created his own world of ruin and it took three goddesses fused together to even stand a chance against him! The sheer power of the clever magician is not something that even a demi-human like Rofel wants to touch. Not even Save the Queen can save Vormav’s henchman from tasting magical death!

The bright lights.

The dramatic music playing in the background.

Yes, there was only one way a match of this magnitude, this epic, could be settled!

"OH MY GOD, WHY ARE THEY DISCOING!?" Fei shrieked from his position in the judges box, as he stared in total horror as Lezard and Rofel gave it their all on the dance floor.

Ness silently pointed at Kuja, who was happily singing along-into a microphone-to Disco Inferno.

"..." Fei slumped into his chair, staring blankly at the match.

Ultimately, the conclusion was foregone, though.

Can you imagine anyone looking better in bellbottoms than Lezard Valeth?

Rofel Wodring: 30
Lezard Valeth: 55
