Season 35, Week 2
Avalon
(Legaia: Duel Saga)

LONG LIVE THE MYSTICS! The DL's newest racist bastard has come to show these inferior beings what it means to be a member of the elite. In order to do that, Avalon will have to obliterate as many Godlikes as he can on the path to a championship. There will hardly be much glory in his first conquest, however. Zelos is the very definition of an inferior being in Godlike, and Avalon will prove it with but a single use of Ruler or Worst Nightmare. 100% Charm or Stone will see to Zelos' swift and brutal defeat; or the Infinite One could just smash the Chosen to itty bitty pieces with his devastating attacks. Either way, Avalon's first win in the DL will be the definitive proof that emo and angst trump obnoxious prettyboys any day.

He's too cool to have been out for song long, so hail the one, the only, Chosen Zelos Wilder! A veteran of combat, skilled with all manner of magic and swordplay, Zelos is the perfect welcoming committee for Avalon's fresh debut to the RPGDL. His arrival, without fanfare, predisposes him to inferior morale, something the great Zelos never suffers from! Also, he's an evil racist man, and Zelos is a heroic angel! What more of a battle of morals could one want? The heroic Zelos, armed with the legendary Last Fencer, shall make mincemeat out of the pathetic Mystic. Supported by his healing magic, as well as offensive magic, Zelos covers all his bases perfectly well - thus, victory is guaranteed! Don't mess with the best, Godlike! You'll get burned bad!

One truth comes out above all else:

Popularity cannot win all fights. So while Zelos brings in all the raving screaming fangirls and fanboys he has behind him, Avalon simply sighs, and nukes them all at once with some doomsday villainy powers of his that he didn't have in game, cause villains aren't allowed to win.

Overboard? Yes, but given the victims of this fight was just his own opponent and yet another useless raving crowd, Avalon had little regrets, let alone anyone actually complaining about the casualities. I mean, its hard to hear complaints about someone's death when ALL of their fans were nuked alongside the person themselves.

...and ironically enough, Avalon just did the human race, something he despises, a big favor, but no one has to tell him that.
