Season 34, Week 5
Ghaleon
(Lunar Series)

The Magic Emperor has proven time and time again that nothing - not even so-called 'Godslayers' - can stop him when he's on a run. You can't teach an old dog new tricks, but when you've got ultimate magical power i you really don't need anything new. Ghaleon's standard arsenal of tricks will be put to the test once more against his current foe: from Chaos Shield to absorb any of Yuri's attacks, to the deadly Fate Storm that devours the souls of all it touches, Yuri's going to be hard-pressed to face down the tried-and-true world-destroying magicks of the Magic Emperor. Even the mighty Seraphic Radiance will be unable to pierce Ghaleon's formidable defenses - meanwhile, Ghaleon's deadly Hell Wave and light-sabre strikes can tear apart the divine being Yuri poses as in an instant. There's no stopping Ghaleon as he marches on to another Godlike title. It's time to die, Yuri!

Despite being the consummate jokester, no one is laughing at Yuri Hyuga now. Only once before has he graced the finals, but every single loss this man has taken has been at the hands of the eventual or a previous Godlike champion. This time that won't be enough for him. He wants the whole kit-n-kaboodle. Seraphic Radiance is calling to him, beckoning him into this battle. This entails a plethora of options for him depending on which form he takes, but for the Magic Emperor? It'll definitely have to be the right one. Getting around Chaos Shield requires massive multi-target damage. Surviving Ghaleon's magic requires some serious defense. Fortunately, his second Seraphic Radiance form has these both in spells, stats and buffs. Magic Emperor? Kinda silly name compared to Godslayer. This time, Yuri will be called a different nickname. Godlike Champion. Alice will be so proud of him.

Monkeyfinger
The match began predictably enough, with Yuri landing a few hits that merely made Ghaleon flinch, followed by Ghaleon returining an almost fatal series of blows.

Brimming with confidence, Ghaleon watched Yuri draw in some power to improve his strength and heal his body, then hit Yuri again.

Yuri responded by draining some of Ghaleon's vast health, followed by morphing into a dark demon and leeching some of Ghaleon's equally vast magical reserves...

Hours later, Ghaleon collapsed in a heap. Everything he could do could damage Yuri, but nothing he could do could put him away, and Yuri just kept on draining and draining his health and magic. Exhausted, battered, and with his sanity on it's last legs, Ghaleon could be heard whimpering "I'm a pretty, pretty princess.... la la la la la..." shortly before passing out.

Yuri became human again. "Heh. I'm a little surprised that worked myself. Damn I'm good." He accepted his title, and nonchalantly kicked Ghaleon's corpse as he strode out of the arena without a word.

Ghaleon: 41
Yuri Volte Hyuga: 54

Barubary
*classical music plays*

ahhh welcome to Barubary's contestant spotlight... today we'll look at the winningest godlike in the league... The magic emperor Ghaleon

Now many of you know him for his famous attacks as well as the famous Anime serious magical girl pretty Ghaleon... ahh yes a classic but thats not what were going to look at... however later we will point and laugh

*puts a pipe in his mouth and looks into the camera* now were going to look at his few losses and debate there merits... lets begin

First lost: ... Necron... are you bloody serious he lost to a not rank... oh wait thats was in the beggning of ther series, back when people like Menardri can beat people like Myria
Second lost: Albedo... now this is a lost to respect Albedo is pretty strong and he's the only one fast enough to really take advantage of Ghaleons... slowness
Third Lost: Piastol.... ahhh Piastol the greatest of the sleeper Godlikes... Perhaps the best but due to her infrequent apperances she may never meet her potential... but maybe one day she'll shine
Final Lost: Myria... the first to four and truly the most respectable lost... An epic slug fest of the ages perhaps one that will never be repeated

and now... well he's not losing to Yuri... so we don't have more to discuss hmmmm everyone hail the magic emperor first to 5

Major Damage
Yawn. Ghaleon fucking wins. Now, I would just love to see Ghaleon versus The Mariner, from Doom. It'd be lovely to see Slug Emperor versus 400% speed and 24x damage from the awesome BFG9000. Again, and again, and again, until the league is wearing Magic Emperor smoldering remains.
