Season 34, Week 1
Loki
(Valkyrie Profile)

Clashing against powerful gods... this is what makes Loki feel truly alive! Armed with the Dragon Orb, Loki's power is nearly infinite, far beyond any mortal's. So it's a good thing, then, that Dark Force is no mortal, but an evil god after Loki's own heart. Except that it is but the puppet of a greater evil, so perhaps he is no match for the Trickster God after all. Even worse is its total lack of elemental resistance. Loki's dreaded Indiscriminate will strike hard and fast, rending this durable monster in record time. Speed, defense, brains, and power - Loki holds all the cards in this match, as he so often does. And it will be but the opening act of Loki's attainment of the glory he deserves!

In the Phantasy Star universe, there's one evil feared above all others. Oh, the Profound Darkness may be stronger, but it faded away long ago, leaving Dark Force as the stuff of Algol's nightmares. From his bloody battle with Alis to the destruction of Palma and its desperate attempts to stave off Chaz, Dark Force has been at the center of every single conflict. A mere Asgardian reject like Loki can't compete with the powers of malice incarnate. A few shots of Lightning Shower should dispel any pathetic, vain hopes of victory. Not that he has a real chance, as Dark Force is as tough as a spaceship. He won't crumple to a few overwrought spells uttered by a scrub of a trickster god.

A force of great evil.

A force that ruined the world for his own random amusement.

There's only one possible way this could end up.

"...What do you mean, Dark Force locked him in a treasure box, then ran off?" Magus said, puzzled.

"Just what I said. Evidently Loki tried to strike a deal with him, and Dark Force said something about coming into his office to negotiate... We can't open it without getting into a fight with him, and he gets stuck back in the box when people lose." Rolf shrugged.

"...Well, the box is in the arena. Dark Force isn't. I guess Loki wins. We'll just leave him there, it's less care and feeding." Magus shrugged.
