Knights of Razril: The Revenge

Humuliation has been a part of the Knights in the Duelling League, with both Tal and Jewel facing losses before even settling into a steady beat and now drinking in the bar to wash their losses away. Annoyed at their shunting, the remaining knights, Lazlo, Snowe, Keneth, and Paula, strike up a four-strong team in order to restore honor to their name. The booking has decided to pit them against three other four-member teams, but so far, they don't know who.

"Welcome to another brilliant day in the RPGDL!" blairs over the intercom. "We're here to deliver a four way against teams of four from games 3 and 4 of their series. Let's get to the introductions!"

"Alright, this is it!" Keneth says to the rest of the team. "We can do this, we just need to pull our offense together."

"Our first team, hailing from the Island Nations and out to restore dignity to the name of the Knights of Razril lost when Tal and Jewel lost. Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for Lazlo, Snowe, Paula, and Keneth!"

The knights came out to a rather low round of applause. Most of their honor had been misplaced, but soon they will restore it with their own weapons.

"Next up, they come from the hot desert that Filgaia has become during Wild Arms 3! Can their ways of the ARMs pull their way to a victory here? Everyone, please give a round of applause to Virginia, Gallows, Jet, and Clive!"

The Wild Arms 3 group receive nearly double the applause that the knights received. The team gains more motivation to get rid of the opponents, and imagine how much honor will be gained for taking down a Light Champion.

"Our third team makes a living doing work for their homeland of Harmonia, and woe to anyone that gets in the way of their weapons. Here to represent the Holy Kingdom, here's the 14th Unit of the Southern Frontier Defense Force!"

Duke, Elaine, Gau, and Nicholas walk out onto the field, looking just as they always have, which is to say, not too intimidating, but that will change when the match starts.

"And finally! They come from the desolate world of Filgaia, where things of beauty are forever being lost. Can these brave people bring home the happiness of victory to a world gone bad? Our final team, here's Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, and Raquel!"

The most successful team of the bunch, the Wild Arms 4 cast gains not only applause, but a few standing ovations as well. Now that all the teams were on the battlefield, the match can start anytime. After moments of intense staring, the silence is broken by the sound of a bell. The match was on!
  • Lazlo, Snowe, Paula, and Keneth prove the Knights are the best in the Island Nations.
  • Arnaud's razor sharp mind leads his WA4 team to victory.
  • Virginia, Gallows, Jet, and Clive use gunpowder to settle the score.
  • Duke and company score one for all Harmonian mercenaries.
  • Viki sneezes, and everyone is now locating wood, rope, and coconuts on an island.

Lezard Valeth
After winning the match Arnaud and co decides to throw a party all the participant to show a good sportsmanship. "Yeah right", tought Arnaud, "I'll just have Vicky teleport everyone away as an added insult".

Unfortunately for Arnaud inviting Vicky turns out to be a disaster when she sneezes them to an Island where they gather wood, coconut and rope.

At least they won the championship.....

"Stand still so I can chop your head off", shouted an enraged Raquel.

"Uh no I love my head thank you very much", replied Arnaud who is running faster than usual due to an 'added incentive'.

"Are they always like that?", asked a rather confused Paula.

Jude sigh, "well sometimes when things go wrong".

The entire cast as it turns out was basically enjoying the view of Raquel chasing Arnaud and some was even encoraging her to run faster since they manage to figure out who got them in this mess in the first place.

"Go chop him up".

"Slow down so she can finish you off"

"Umm shouldn't we stop them?", asked a concerned Yulie.

Both Duke and Elaine who sitting on the beach looked at her quizzily and back at the spectacle. "Look here miss you don't see this kind of entertainment elsewhere. Sides I doubt Raquel'll chop him up or something, I think", replied Duke while scratching his head.

"We also need to have some type entertainment since this Island is located in the middle of nowhere", added a bored looking Elaine.

"Oooh she almost got him", She pointed at Arnaud who manage to got a top shave from 'barber' Raquel Applegate.

This goes on for weeks before the local DL pirate Bartholomew Fatima, Vyez, and the others manage to stumble upon the Island and rescue them from certain doom.....maybe since you really shouldn't trust pirates.

Honestly if you look at things the other teams stand no chance against the Wild Arms 4 team. The WA3 people can't use their mediums due to them not being assigned to a specific character, S3 & S4 people have limited casting abilities. But with Raquel using intrude, Arnaud using his various speels like "Lock Out" and "Illusion" and Yulie healing and creating barriers, there is no way they can lose.

If Duke... maybe Elaine? No...

Clive insulting Jude mother? Amusing, but no...

There... is no way team Wild Arms 4 can lose this match.

Unless Jet gets beheaded. Then everyone wins.

I hate Arnaud. I do. I really do. I don't want to be biased against him, but he's goddamn annoying.

Which is why I'm glad I honestly feel the Wild Arms 3 team can do anything the 4 team can do just as well, if not better, do to everyone's ability to summon guardians, and that everyone uses guns.

Anybody here play Resident Evil 4? Not an RPG, but roll with me on this one.

Remember how your rifle shots would go right through the zombie's shields? I can imagine Clive's rifle doing that to Nicholas. Racquel gets sniped, Accelerated, and summoned at before she can attack, with her speed. Knights of the Island are....irrelevant.

Oh, yeah, and what was that move the kills everything? Finest Arts? Yeah. Gallows uses that while Virginia uses her FP to heal everyone.

Overall, I think the 3 team has the win here.

Goddamn, Arnaud's a jerk.
