Season 33, Week 3
Nash Latkje
(Suikoden III)

Harmonian superspy Nash Latkje already has Kyra profiled. A defensive fighter who lacks much in the way of offense...well, that should be just the sort of invigorating challenge he'll enjoy. Silent Lake won't be of much use this week, but Nash's healing and dangerous physical attacks will. An excellent Heavy Damage skill level will help keep Kyra healing, and Nash's proficiency with his water rune gives him more than a half dozen uses of full-healing magic. The should buy him the time he needs to splatter Kyra's face all over the walls with a single string of critical hits. With an advantage in speed and damage, Nash certainly can manage that.

The bold and caring Esper from Dezolis dispatched a tin can with her magic, and now a superspy awaits. Nash Latkje may have a Water Rune's healing at his disposal, but he certainly can't outlast Kyra - after all, with her speed edge, Warla to block his physical attacks and Telele to weaken the spy's strength even further, she can build an insurmountable wall against nearly any material assault. To further cement her victory, Kyra can cast her restorative Medice skill even under Silent Lake, giving Nash no chance to wear her out before being depleted himself. This is just Kyra's kind of fight, and the Esper eagerly awaits the semifinals!

DjinnandTonic
A big sister to all, Kyra walks into the arena and immediately takes a shine to her opponent,
"You looked like you've lived a hard life."

Nash was a little surprised to hear such words before a duel, but was never one to be taken off-guard by his favorite game: the game of conversation. He WAS a spy after all.
"You don't know the half of it."

Kyra smiled, "I can tell you've been jaded by the intrigue of politics, you won't open up so easily. I feel bad that you've had to live that way."

Nash quirked an eyebrow at her calm words, a little touched, "Have you forgotten why we're here?"

"Is that more important than the pain you're obviously feeling?"

And so it continued, until Kyra had therapized Nash into a weeping puddle on the floor, one who was convinced he had acrophobia, paranoia, and had been sexually abused as a child. Kyra patted his head softly and led him off the battle field for a clean out-of-bounds win.
