Season 33, Week 2
Tristan Zenobia
(Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen)

The noble and righteous prince Tristan finally debuts in the Duelling League, and against another knight under the sacraments of justice! 'Tis a great honor, to be in a clash of swords and heroes as he faces the former Acacian Deva Garai. However, Tristan holds all the cards to victory in this match. The prince's Holy resistance is truly legendary, as is his physical tankishness. Garai's reliant on... holy elemental physicals. This truly plays into Tristan's greatest strengths, and he is no slouch with a sword either. So, while this is an aesthetical dream of a match, it's essentially one-sided, as Tristan can easily win this slugfest. It'll be a sight to behold, and a fine victory for the Zeteginean prince!

Mmmrph. A young pup seeks to challenge the former Acadia Dragoon to combat? This should be a laugher. But no matter at all: Garai's dual swords are more than a match for any speedy bladework the prince of Zenobia can manage. In a suitably annoying twist of fate, the young Tristan manages to resist Garai's deadly Will Breaker and Triple Cut attacks, but that's a minor setback. He'll still get good use out of Triple Cut, as the Fiitgue status is just the thing to fatally slow down the prince. Once his speed's been crippled, Garai will just close in and slice the prince up with the swordsmanship skills that were once hailed by all of Termina. All the flashy physical strikes and speed in the world won't save Tristan from a master Dragoon.

"A ghost, out for revenge against those he feels wronged him? Well, I have slain plenty of those in my adventures. It's as simple as...." Tristain unseathed a blessed sword and charged the white-innate Garai.

"Doing more thorough research is good." It's a lesson often learned the hard way in the DL, and it just happened to Tristain.
