Season 33, Week 1
Aika
(Skies of Arcadia)

Agile, stunning, smart, it's Aika's second chance to make it big in the RPGDL's Middle division, and all of these talents will let her dominate the ever so dense Dekar, lover of swords. While her last appearance, like the rest of her cast's, was a bit less than stellar, Aika is bound and determined to prove that she's not just a pretty face. And the mentally inept Knight Dekar shall be a perfect first opponent! In this fight, Aika holds all the advantages - with her superior agility, she can run rings around the sluggish (in many ways) Knight of Bound, which works wonderfully with her Swirlmerang, keeping Dekar confused and as oblivious as he always is through the fight. With her mastery over green magic to refresh whatever wounds the sword lover may inflict, and Epsilon Mirror for a bit of invincibility as needed, Aika simply cannot lose to the muscle-for-a-brain!

Many fighters in the Arena rely on a variety of tricks to help them survive. From status attacks to buffs, the Duelling League has all kinds of tricksters. Dekar, however, isn’t one of those silly, deluded tricksy fighters. Dekar has only one true calling, and that calling is hitting things really hard with his sword. It’s not a bad talent to have, really (because, boy, does he hit things hard), especially not against rather weakling bimbos like this Aika girl. She is one of those fighters who thrives on tricks like magic immunity via her Delta Shield and the confusion from the Swirlmerang. Neither one of these skills is remotely useful against Dekar, who is never afraid of getting into a dirty slugfest, and, as a result? He will brutally dismantle the young Aika. This will show her never to challenge a man who forgot how to lose! For he is the Knight of Bound, the great Dekar!

Aika trained so hard, too.

All the punishing blows she took.

All the hard, long days of training, all the pills and all the hard work...

Yet, sadly, she could never beat Dekar at his own game.

As she fell to the ground, she realized she just wasn't good enough.

No matter how stupid she became, she could never be as dumb as "Too Stupid To Lose" Dekar.

On the upside, she now thinks that 2+2=Purple and does basically anything Vyse says, at least until the healers complete the restoration of her brain, so hey, someone comes out ahead.
