Season 33, Week 1
Kyra Tierny
(Phantasy Star 4)

After a very long absence, the Esper from Dezolis finally takes a leave from her sagely duties back in the gelid planet of Algol to grace Heavy with the beautiful and deadly magic of the disciples of Lutz! Against the leader of the Knights of Pluto, Adelbert Steiner, Kyra has a simple strategy: Warla to cast a nigh-impenetrable defensive wall against his sword skills, and repeatedly apply Nagra, bypassing all of the knight's elemental-walling armor choices. With the notable speed difference, Kyra will definitely have this win under the belt before Steiner can apply any real damage. And, really, even if he try for Iai Strike's instant death... it would work better if the attack wasn't so inaccurate it rivaled Euram Barows. The Esper will honor her comrades and master this week, and a tin can man will fall!

The once feared knight of Pluto has seen his stock decline rapidly in the past several seasons. Now forgotten and left in the dust, Steiner's just another semi popular fighter waiting for a match. Surely, the fearsome defender of Alexandria won't settle for this treatment! And the quickest and easiest way to regain glory is at the point of a sword. Thankfully, Steiner's skills are as sharp as ever. Boasting high defense and high attack, he's as good a pure pummeling heavy as any. The skills needed to take down Kyra aren't Shock or Climhazzard, but Iai Strike. Steiner's putting everything he has into the instant death skill. It's not the most accurate of attacks, but the fierce warrior certainly has enough time to off Kyra before her puny blows and magics can so much as dent his powerful Tin Armor.

Kyra has a locked advantage, 1,000 years after Rolf and friends defeated the Earth migrants who introduced Mother Brain came the Profound Darkness, which Kyra helped defeat. With healing and superior speed + knowledge far advanced past Stiener she'll take this one home a little too easily. Steiners not the brightest bulb in the pack, it's best for him to just give up.
