Season 32, Week 4
Kanon
(Wild Arms 2)

The one-eyed, one-armed Kanon has struck a blow for blazing-fast cycloptic amputees everywhere, and she'll continue to do so as she goes into this Heavy semi-final. It will be a battle of Filgaia's cross-dimensional finest as she faces off against Oedipus-complex wielding Malik. Kanon should continue to succeed leverage her overwhelming strengths into victory; Nothing can keep up with her speed and her vicious Gat combos. A barrier? Nothing an Eagle Claw or a Phalanx or two can't handle. Kanon can weather Malik's reprisals and status attacks, so it should prove to be an interesting experiment. One has a physical handicap, while the other's is mental. We shall see which holds the other back more as they strive to secure their place in the Heavy final.

Really, how can one work on resurrecting their mother with all these pathetic weaklings making such a fuss? First some silent kid with a bandanna, then a sprite, and now some type of cyborg freak? What a freakshow! It's time to show Heavy that Malik means business, and no one-eyed, one-armed cyborg with a knife on a string is going to stop him! Kanon's agility is her greatest strength, but it will do her no good against the hyper-resonating prophet Malik. Despite all her fancy little tricks, she has no magic, and physical attacks can't touch Malik, ending the match before it even begins! A quick shot of Tri-Injury will disable the girl entirely, then Eliminate Scanner should finally knock her out. Simple, effective - just how mother would have wanted it.

Kanon.

Marvel of modern science that she is, her cybernetic eye can easily trace the fastest of movements, instantly striking down the fastest of foes.

No, no one could possibly ever defeat the purest height of her tracking systems.

...though, it never comes across in battle. I mean, it lets her find tall towers easier, but...

...

Wait, that's a plot power, then, isn't it?

"Yes, it is." Kanon nodded solemnly.

"I'm sorry, then, we're going to have to disqualify you." Beatrix said.

"It's okay, I understand. But you didn't expect me to let the lunatic that wants to sleep with his mother to beat me, did you?" Kanon shrugged, as she left the arena, the loser.

"Say, is that his spleen?" "I think that's his nose." "His nose?" "Did you miss the part where he turned it inside out?" "Where's his liver?" "I think Kanon had most of it on her boot."

The judges, satisfied with their ruling, proceeded to the more important matter of determining what exactly was left of Malik.

Kanon: 43
Malik Benedict: 54

Kanon's form is Godlike, thus not belonging in Heavy otherwise her whole character should be in Godlike.

Malik goes first, Misery et al. Game over.

Plus he's prettier. Yea.

PC Kanon fails against status. Malik wins. It's Malik vs Kanon, not Boss Kanon v Malik, ne?
