Season 4, Week 1
Celes Chere
(Final Fantasy VI)

Former general of the Magitek Empire of Vector, Celes is a capable battlemage who's comfortable with both spell and sword. However, besides her Ice spells and her Runic ability, she's known for her large quantity of usable status spells. With Imp, Berserk, and Vanish all at her command, she has two methods of quick victories against anyone unable to defend against both of them. And with good MDef to keep her alive through a Starstorm assault for the round or two it'll last, Celes is looking at an easy first victory.

The prince of Dalaam is gracing the RPGDL with his overly large head this week. While his Starstorm PSI powers will be a good counter to Celes' own, and his Shield spells will ensure that if she decides to try and hurt him, not just will the damage be halved, she may also hit herself. His Diadem and Bracer of Kings will provide the needed Luck to help dodge Celes' fearsome statuses, and his Cloak of Kings will have him hopping about with the speed boost. Can the Prince of Dalaam pull this off, with the promise of the next round and a Bottle of Water awaiting him? Only time will tell!

Pipe Dreamer
Poo knew that the only way he could possibly win was to confuse Celes with a quick opening Brainshock. So the moment the battle began, he mentally stuck a finger into Celes's brain and swirled around. Content that he had destroyed the last ounce of Celes's sanity, he finished the PSI and waited for victory.

Now, children, what happens when Imperial Generals become insane?

Poo didn't know what. But he was about to, after seeing Celes morph into a vaguely angelic figure with an odd resemblance to a certain Season 1 Godlike semifinalist...

Poo can blast CEles with...something which she will survive. Celes can Beserk Poo, and unfortunatly, with 150% chance hit rate, even with all that Luck, it doesn't do anything to a spell that's reliant totally on M. Block to dodge. And in war, who fights? The GEneral or the Prince? I believe the very existance of a General proves that Princes aren't that much of fighters...even ones with Spiritual Fullfillement who can blast people with Stars many times...
