Season 32, Week 3
Emily
(Suikoden III)

Emily's finely honed fists handled a tomboy princess with ease - now it's time for her to graduate to sturdier punching bags! The vaunted generic Knight of FF1 may boast brutal defenses and a shiny sword...but the daughter of Ronnie Bell laughs at puny blade swings with her natural evasion, further boosted by the Haziness Rune. Furthermore, her critical hits ignore Knight's defense and she has a massive speed advantage. She's going to knock him down far faster than he can cast Ruse, doing to that generic loser what the evil Garland failed to achieve!

There will be no mercy in this fight, that's clear enough. Knight and Emily are two of the premier sluggers in Heavy, with excellent attack power and defense, and neither follows the time-tested strategy of brutally beating their opponents into submission. But the difference is that Knight can support his offense with white magic; while Emily has an advantage in evasion to start the fight, Ruse will take care of that. The scarily accurate Knight won't need long to buff up to perfect defenses, and to pound Emily into dirt with well placed strikes from Excalibur.

Last week in the arena, Geshp and Gadget Z were both eaten by Zog and Rikimaru, respectively. Two perfectly healthy, upstanding duelers -- gobbled up in a matter of seconds. What is the world coming to? Can't two noble warriors have a friendly duel without fear of being eaten alive anymore?

Never being one to pass up an opportunity to increase his popularity, Knight decided to continue this season of cannibalism by eating Emily in their match. He even brought along a knife and a fork and a salt shaker and a bib with a little lobster on it (because hey, if you're going to eat someone, you might as well do it the right way). Unfortunately for Knight, though, his battle plans were completely halted by a well-placed punch from Emily. It's rather difficult to eat someone when you don't have any teeth.
