Season 32, Week 2
Geshp
(Shining Force 2)

Bwahahahahahaha! That pesky youthful warrior Serge isn't around anymore to spoil Geshp's utter dominance! With his Achilles heel banished from Godlike, it's time for the strongest of all Zeon's Greater Demons to come out and play. With his blazing speed, double-acting, brutal Frost4 spell and high magic resistance, no one will stand up to this ugly goblin's unmatchable power! The Dark Dragon Zog will be an easy victim- slow, magically frail and highly reliant on the very elemental magic Gesph resists, he has no prayer of overcoming Geshp's GODLIKE POWERS OF FREEZING DOOM. Smashing Zog's shell will be the Greater Demon's first step to his Godlike belt - and, after he starts, there's no stopping this goblin, baby!

The man. The dragon. The never-ending supply of HP. Zog is almost unparalleled in his ability to take punishment, and this durability has won him many fights. Now some weird demon thinks he can defeat the Dark Dragon Emperor so easily? Hah! Zog will be facing a few disadvantages, especially in speed, but his ability to soak up his opponent's magic damage will see him through the double-turns, and his attacks will put quite a dent in Geshp's HP before long. There's no way that Geshp can defeat Zog quickly, and Geshp has no tricks up his sleeve to bypass the dragon's durability. All in all, this match is a complete lock, and Zog will crush his opponent and move on to the next match without any real challenge.

You know the saying the simplest solution is always the best? Well, ZOg applied that very same logic here, and after transforming into his large dragon form, he simply ATE Geshp, and got a victory as such. Its nice when your mouth is larger than your oponnent, eh?

Geshp: 22
Zog: 38

In D&D, dragons are generally regarded as one of the highest-level creature types. Sporting massive quantities of HP, and more raw power than you could shake a +3 longsword at, they tend to be feared.

Demons are arguably amongst the things that are stronger, possessing myriads of stupidly powerful abilities, innate weapons that disappear when they die, and the fact that players fear them that much more when they come upon that entry in the Monster Manual.

Come on. It's more interesting than a description of how Geshp pretty much blasts Zog's abysmal MDEF to death with doublecast Freeze 4 spells, you have to admit that.
