Season 29, Week 5
Fou-Lu
(Breath of Fire IV)

A clash of Gods. This is nothing new to the DL Godlike, scene of grandeur that it is. Even just last week, Fou-Lu fought his other half, Ryu, resulting in the third victory for the elder Endless. But now, at last, Fou-Lu faces an opponent worthy of his might. The Duelling League may well not endure their fierce conflict, two of the most powerful beings - possibly even the most powerful in the DL's multiverse - hurling all of their power against each other in a struggle rivaled only by Cray and Lezard's epic fight in Light. But regardless of the consequences, this is a battle that must be fought. Fought, yes, and won, if Fou-Lu is to join inferior dragons, lady warriors and silver-haired pansy villains in the halls of the back-to-back Godlike champions. This is his demonstration of what a true champion should be made of - and be capable of doing to his pathetic foes. And with his usual mix of awesome damage and durability, it's a victory that is well within the grasp of the greatest immortal of them all.

What foolish mortals! The mighty Zophar has quashed all opposition this season, and now, on the cusp of a second championship, he shall not hesitate! The diabolical Destroyer has faced for more daunting opponents than Fou-Lu before - faster foes, such as the mad clown Kefka and the timespace master Belial; more resilient manifestations of evil, such as the Profound Darkness; and more offensive-oriented opponents, like Genevieve. Fou-Lu cannot claim any of these advantages over The Destroyer - he is slower, weaker, and less resilient. Zophar has it made: while he charges for the devastating Hell Storm - and attack that has slain many Godlikes - he can keep Fou-Lu on his toes with a few castings of potent elemental magicks. Not even Fou-Lu's Dark Wave at full strength can down the mighty God of Destruction, and once Zophar unleashes his full potential, not even the mightiest conglomerate of heroes will be able to dam up the tide of his championship run.

After cheering Zophar on throughout the season it looks like his wining streak comes to a stop.

Sure he beat the overrated Belial and the god like Terra *there was someone in the middle don't care who* Its time that Zophar lose... The unbeatble endless has come. All things tremble around him. even a being of Zophars capabilities fall prey to the invinicble Endless and his matter creating abilities

"thou are truly worthless a mere mortal can never defeate thee"

Fou-Lu: 54
Zophar: 47

A battle between Zophar and Fou-lu? please, more like an all out massacre. Fou-lu is quite possibly the strongest godlike. Zophar on the other hand, is, while not exactly the weakest godlike in existence, VERY dissapointing.

eezy , Zophar dies to Tyrant.
